Why is Chimpy getting away with comparing his bogus War on Terror to WWII? |
|
Edited on Fri Jun-04-04 05:00 PM by neebob
Are people really this stupid? Is it because his father's a fake WWII hero? Do actual veterans just take recognition any way they can get it? Is the lack of criticism out of respect for the dead? What?
Who actually believes the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are like World War II?
I didn't even know much about D-Day until like a week ago, and I just think it's the biggest obscenity ever. And it's not like it's just something he said once - he's saying it again and again and again. It's a shameless, concerted plan.
This sick comparison has got to be inflaming the other countries who were involved even more than they already were. Why aren't Americans taking offense?

He has been warned not to try that in France, though.

5. I'm referring to claims and his own apparent recognition |
|
that he might have bailed out of the plane and left the others to die. He spends quite a bit of time rationalizing it in that dorky Flyboy special that CNN is always running.

7. He feels self-assured because |
|
he assumes anyone who will listen to him in the first place will fall for anything. He gets that from watching Oxy-Rush in action.

8. I would like to know why he has gotten away with everything that is vile |

beginning with the stealing of the electon, I have come to understand the phenomena of the German people allowing, seemingly oblivious, Hitler to become what he did--I used to think it was incredible that the German people thought they could not have it better than under Hitler and seemed oblivious to his evils. I now have more insight into how those things can come about and it is a sad tribute to the stupidity of the people in American who would support this stupid man who has evil intent.
He has millions and millions of dollars donated to him by the biggest corporate people in the world and they expect a payback. That is truly scary.
It may be too late--he may win the next election and if he does, that is the end of this democracy as we knew/know it. It is bad enough that he has destroyed us in three and a half years, but given four more years, he will totally take over in a fascism that we have never before seen on this soil.

to agree with hughee99. Bush I lied about his age to fight in wwII, and by all accounts served well.
As to your question, many americans believe the war on terror is great importance, hence he can say it.
