All right. I've heard many people say that the Democrats can't win the House in 2004. I believe that we can. Suppose for the sake of argument that we did. Since I believe that we need to keep the word out on vulnerable districts here are the ones (in the argument) that we won:
AZ-1 GA-11 GA-12 PA-6 FL-16 FL-15 PA-15 NC-8 MT-AL CT-2 IN-8 NJ-7
That would make 217 Democrats in the House. With Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on our side, we'd have the majority.
My question for all of you out there is will Reps. Ken Lucas, Charlie Stenholm, Ralph M. Hall, and Gene Taylor, all of whom did not vote for Nancy Pelosi in 2002, go with the party when we need them or will they support Denny Hastert and his band of thugs?

1. You are mistaken about the Dems who didn't vote for Pellosi.... |
|
They didn't vote for Hastert.... they're Blue Dog Democrats and voted for Harold Ford Jr. (D-TN). That problem won't happen again because Pellosi has been a lot better than a lot of people expected.

2. I'm sorry, I just knew that they didn't vote for Pelosi |

But thanks for answering my second question. I was really worried that we would do all of that work of winning the House and Denny Hastert would still be in charge.
