does reagan's funeral orgy make up for the 850 unseen G.I. funerals? |
|
while we are being force fed lies and images of reagan's funeral ad nauseum, the dead soldiers have YET to have a public funeral, attended by republican blowhards and reagan ass kissers. our president, the natural evolution of ronald reagan gone terribly wrong, has NEVER READ A EULOGY AT ANY DEAD SOLDIERS FUNERAL to date.
our nation is now so full of contradictory obsessions, and a gross imbalance of priorities. the smiling mass murderer's funeral is such a phony public spectacle of insanity and revisionist history, we utterly forget that young men and women, our sons and daughters, are being SLAUGHTERED silently in a land far far away, while we obsess in this grotesque infatuation over this single, awful man's funeral.
they HIDE the soldiers flag draped coffins from our sensitive eyes, lest we lose our war resolve, but they glorify a mass murdering embarrassment of a president, and choke us with it and cram it down our throats and spit lies in our faces.

2. Somebody should have a parade somewhere on the same day |
|
with mock-ups of 850 flag covered coffins... I know it is too late for that, but it makes me absolutely furious to see Americans doing this with the memory of REAGAN for God's sake and agreeing that seeing the soldiers' coffins would harm the relatives!!!!!

4. And then they will say, "Caskets? |
|
We showed you a casket, what are you whining about now?" Bushco fully intends this opportune moment to be a bait and switch. It's not working though; Reagan screwed too many people over for the grumbling to be low-keyed.

6. No, because even the Repugs |
|
don't want to bring up the other caskets. They themselves have studiously avoided the comparision.
Reagan's life was worth infinitely more than some infantry schmuck's, you know.

7. With the HUNDREDS of military personnel in these ceremonies, |
|
... I'm inclined to think they'd be far better deployed to relieve the troops in Iraq.

8. Not in my book. It should serve to remind people how this admin has |
|
disrespected so many families who lost loved ones. Reagan never served in the military...only as radio personality. Under his admin. vets received the most horrible health care with many, many mentally ill and agent-orange suffering turned out into the streets. How the military could come to believe that Reagan was their hero is a testament to the superior brain-washing capability of the power elite in this country.

10. Actually heard a woman viewing Reagan's casket on the news |
|
say how awe inspiring it was! I said to my son, "Well gee, you could be 'inspired' every day with at least 3 flag-draped caskets coming back from Iraq, if the fascists would let you".

Well it kind of does make up for the two failed heroes they tried to trot out for America to go gaga over. The chick who was "raped", after fighting off an entire regiment of Iraqi's, who turns out to not remembering the rape, to telling how her captors were kind and saw to it she recieved medical care.
To Tillman who they dragged out as proof God fearing Americans would give up everything to save their troops. Then it turns out he was an atheist, and was most likely killed by friendly fire.
And Bush being the failure he is has been compared to Hitler, and Saddam soo often they needed someone to be the hero. Shit Bush probably had someone pull the plug for political gain on this one.
