Foiled Mission to Plant WMDs?
I picked this up from another board. Anyone aware of the credibility of this story?

Daily Times Monitor

According to a stunning report posted by a retired Navy Lt Commander and 28-year veteran of the Defense Department (DoD), the Bush administration's assurance about finding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq was based on a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) plan to plant WMDs inside the country. Nelda Rogers, the Pentagon whistleblower, claims the plan failed when the secret mission was mistakenly taken out by friendly fire.-Daily Times

2. Al Martin had this on his site a few weeks ago

Rogers, as I recall, is a somewhat controversial figure, and of course Al Martin has a reputation for provoking the largest tin foil hats on the internet. Nevertheless, as fringey as he may seem, I have never known him to be wrong on his facts. Just not capable of confirmation through mainstream avenues. He seems like a sharp and savvy guy who sees through the crap.

This is a sensational story, by the way--it seems that promised support didn't appear on the ground for our infiltrators (US black ops sent into Baghdad to "secure" Saddam's gold) and about 80 people died as a result. The incident was covered up until Rogers decided to come forward.

True? Who knows? We will probably never know.

4. Oh, he's been wrong
Remember when he got everyone nuts a year ago by reporting that Rumsfeld had said that he would jail any and all war protesters with Patriot Act rules?

Wasn't true. I got Martin on the phone via the Malloy show and drilled him for verification. No soap.

So much for that.

5. From research
Story originates from almartinraw.com. I read his page often before he went to pay status. Couldn't vouch for reliability but always stimulating. Many of the items he discussed have come to light over time. Seems to get info well in advance of events - at least in advance of "mainstream" sources. This article was picked up by a number of alternative news sources. First I heard of it.
