3. It was announced today that thousands would line the route from |
|
Pt. Mugu to the Simi Valley. I was kind of hoping no one would show up and then I thought, they would just bus in people for appearances sake. Are there a lot of people there?

There were shots along the road with lines of cars parked in the median and the fast lane.

11. Oh you mean like they never bus in military families for these |
|
photo extravaganzas, considering all the military installations there are in CA that are only hours from ground zero? It would be very easy. Where did all those white people come from in DC? Remember the population of DC is 85% black.

These people are here of their own volition. I had Feds in my yard all day due to my unencumbered view of the whole thing.
I started drinking tequila about and hour ago, and they've suddenly gone. I wonder if there's a connection. :hippie:

Rememember when JFK died? How lined was that parade route?
RFK's train? Same thing.
And for Ronald Reagan? They're one, maybe two deep. Five deep at the most.

Lynn Rd. in Thousand Oaks - a pretty heavily repuke suburb. I live 15 minutes from there. Anyhow, I had reason to travel up Lynn Rd. at noon, and people were already setting up lawn chairs on the sidewalk like they were getting ready for the yearly "Conejo Valley Days" parade. Some goofball even put up a big sign that read "Thank you, President Reagan." Bunch of morons.
But what really pissed me off, and what the media won't tell you, is that the procession tied up Lynn Rd. - which is one of only two roads leading to the only hospital emergency room in a city of over 100,000 people. In order to get to the hospital while Lynn was closed a vehicle would have had to travel several miles out of the way. The people who chose this route were actually endangering lives. The hearse could have stayed on the freeway and arrived at the library in a shorter amount of time. Whoever approved the route was a complete moron.
