In a speech during his Africa tour, as reported on NPR this morning, Bush said "we've only been the 90 to 100 days, well, I don't have the exact time here in front of me, but....". Heard the words myself.
JESUS! You would think that knowing how long you've had troops in a country would be kinda important, no? Particularly when it's only been a few months adn not several years. I'm so glad he is so concerned for, adn supportive of, the US Service Member.

1. Seems more important than Russert's question to Dean |
|
How many troops are in the military? In Iraq? - or whatever he asked. Wonder if Bush will catch all the flak for not knowing the number of days he's had us in Iraq that Dean got over not knowing the exact #s of military personel.

That would require the use of fair play and the Golden Rule. American politics has never been subject to either of those, not even when Washington was in office.

3. Here's the DailyHowler take on that interview between Dean and Timmy... |

WHERE ARE STANDARDS (PART 2)! Russert seemed to play gotcha with Dean. Why shouldn’t Dems see double standards? http://www.dailyhowler.com/dh063003.shtml
