Hey Republicans, it's not too late to nominate someone besides Bush |
|
I'd suggest McCain with Dick Lugar or Chuck Hagel as VP. Better hurry, though, time's a wastin'. If you pick Hagel for VP, make Lugar your SecState and ask Sam Nunn if he'd consider being your SecDefense. Last I checked, "Not Bush" was beating Bush. Do you need to know any more than that? BTW, you're still going to lose but you might restore a shred of honor to your party. Please consider it. I like the 2-party system, although right now I think yours, to put it as delicately as I can, reeks. And if you're serious about deodorizing it, you might want to excommunicate the Texas branch. That bunch got you into this poopstorm in the first place. Does this group of troglodytes (Hey, go read their platform at their web site) have any place in a 21st century political party? I think they're stuck in the 1400's, myself. So think about it. I'm available as a consultant if you need me.

Just keep it quiet. Let them keep incompetent Bush and his criminals. This will make it easier for Kerry.

...the Republican party is the microcosmos of what they would like America to be: not a democracy, but a corporate dictatorship. And the Texas branch are currently on the top. The GOP hierarchy and "loyalty" are really what the party is made of -- not ideas or ideology. Those are only a smokesecreen used for propaganda.

6. Does that hold true in all states? |
|
I'm dredging up a term, "faithless delegates", from somewhere. I'm sure most of the delegates are hand-picked and would remain committed to shrubbie. At this point it would probably take a sizeable and powerful delegation of Republicans to convince him to step aside or release his delegates, which is a nice fantasy, anyway.
