Hey! Hey! I like your bumper sticker!
Stopped at our little post office yesterday. Parked my car, behind me a van pulled up and a woman jumped out -- she called to me as I crossed the parking lot -- "HEY! I like your bumper sticker! One term and he's done!"

She then went on to mention that she had received her Kerry bumper sticker in the mail and it will be on her van by tonight!

We continued our discussion inside the post office -- she elaborated a bit more, mentioning that she works at a small diner, her husband was a bit concerned over putting the Kerry bumper sticker on her car "Aren't you worried someone will ram the van, especially since most of your customers at the diner are republicans?"

She told him, that most of her customers are disgusted with bush* and many have stated that they either will not be voting in Nov. for any presidential candidate or they will be voting for Kerry. She also mentioned that many of her neighbors feel the same way -- it's time to dump bush*!

I'm not sure where the diner is - but in our little town we have a population of around 267. We have more cows than people. This is a small town in northeast PA.

6. I always toot and wave when I see a Kerry sticker on the highway!
But I haven't been in PA since last summer, so it wasn't me!

I guess I just like to share a little bit of good will when I see a like-minded individual.

3. Today I saw TWO bush/cheney
bumperstickers, one was driven by an older guy and they other some middle-aged woman. Seeing those stickers made me want to puke. :puke: I hadn't seen any repuke stickers hardly at all since the prison torture came out, then to see two in one day! :wtf: I would be ashamed to support an administration like that but hey, that's just me. :argh:

7. but.....
gwb is the champion of america! how can you deny that the country is better off today than 4 years ago?? don't you feel more prosperous, safer, optimistic, and empowered than 4 years ago? too bad the masses don't appreciate sarcasm - that text would be all that it would take to rid the US of A of gwb and his ilk for good.

12. Beautiful Area
We so look forward to our trip there every year.for a big Golden Retriever rescue reunion.

I guess it would be kind of like a national DU meetup, except with lots of great dogs. :)

I parked next to a car that had a bunch of Bush-sucks type of bumper stickers. I left a little note in the windshield, "Nice bumper stickers :-) "

11. Interesting Kerry Sticker In Pleasant Valley Sundayland...
The fact there are virtually no Bunnypants bumper stickers in my area this far into an election year is real telling. Even the wingnut down the street who puts up the 8 x 10 yard signs around election time and usually starts his lawn collection around July 4th is very quiet.

I, too, wave and give the high sign to those with Kerry & Impeach Bunnypants stickers on their cars. I have been seeing more and more Kerry around Chicago proper (union trucks have stickers all over 'em) but today was pleasantly surprised.

As I was driving through my predominately Repugnican burg, the car ahead of me had a Kerry sticker...and to my pleasant surprise, it was from MISSOURI! Even better, Joplin! I pulled next...welcomed the visitor...who I briefly learned was in town to visit his brother and was a Kerry organizer in SW Missouri. I saluted and said to fight the good fight. Damn that felt good.

Cheers!

"Frodo Failed.
bush got the ring."

"Let's not elec him
in 2004, either!" - this one has one of those "W's" with the red circle and slash through it.

And various assortments of "Impeach bush" and pro-Kerry bumper stickers. I, too, either wave or salute, or holler at 'em about how much I like their bumper stickers, or leave a thank-you/solidarity note on their windshields.

LOTS of Kerry stickers out there. And 20th Street in Santa Monica had four Kerry yard signs in the space of two blocks. One house had a Kerry yard sign and a bush yard sign: "bush Lies. America Pays."

in the stationery store were talking about what govt offices would be closed Fri due to the Reagan funeral.

First old Lady- "What was so great about Reagan, anyway?
Second old Lady- "I don't know, a lot of people didn't like him."
First old Lady- "Almost as many as don't like Bush."

17. Too true
The letters should be bigger though. You don't want to get "rear ended" by people trying to read the thing.
