Democratic Strategists

Who would you prefer to run your campaign, Donna Brazile or James Carville? Those are the two most notable ones I'm familiar with. If there's anybody else the is just as good as these two let me know.

I choose not to answer my own question.

1. Me!
I admit I have no experience in running a campaign (well except a run for school treasurer back in the 11th grade. (My slogan; "Put the power of embezzlement to work for you.")). But I sure would like to be a strategist. I could say things like, "Hmmmm. Maybe we need to focus on the south." "No, Sir, I'm pretty sure they don't vote in Minnesota. It's like Canada." "Well, I guess if you become president, you could have NASA build you a Presidentmobile." "I'm pretty sure that suggesting that the greenhouse effect is caused by Bush's farting would get a laugh."

See I'd be great.

Campaign managers are almost like chefs--if you give them crap, they might be able to make it look pretty good. But if you start out with a juicy filet mignon (I'm not a vegetarian), well, the best thing to do is just present the candidate and get out of his way.

4. Sounds like
you'd be good at establishing sketchy reimbursement accounts for "cups and ice" or "misc. campaign expenses"

5. Or even . . . .
"Illegal criminal activities." Yep I could do it all. And what makes it even better is my faulty memory. Why one minute i'm planning to break into Republican campaign headquarters, the next I I"m not even aware that Republicans have a campaign headquarters.

2. How about Paul Begala
I like him better than Carville (although I like Carville too)

6. James Carville
Although, I would have to hire someone else too because he doesn't know to operate a computer. Is that not odd. A genius that can't use a computer?
