Why now for Clinton's book and not till after the elections
Joe Klein on MTP said this morning that one of the reasons it may have been "sloppy in writing" was that Clinton, as always, was pushing to meet a deadline. Why the rush and who is rushing to put this book out now? Anybody in the "publishing world" who can explain this?

4. yep, you're right
the hype will be over before the convention, but I still don't understand the rush. I like Clinton and would rather see his face than Bush's, but all this hype takes away from what is going on with the 9/11 commission and Iraq.

2. How about somebody in the "real world?"
Because the Big Dog's book will remind us what it's like to have a REAL president come November.

3. Didn't He Also Say that CLINTON Said the Pre-Convention Period
is a dangerous time for the pre-nominee, that in attempting to eat up all the oxygen himself a pre-nom could easily knock himself out of the running altogether, that CLINTON's taking up the slack is a PLUS.
