Does anyone besides me not want to subject their family to more Monica.? |
|
Personally, since from the previews, it looks as if Clinton's going to be discussing Monica, I think I'll skip watching the interview. The Republicans made pornography acceptable and I think it's really bad that years later that's all that too many people remember about Clinton. They ought to ask him about the economy.

However, from the snippets I've seen of that section, Clinton's answers are a shining example of someone taking responsibility for his actions. It's a glorious contrast to the liars we have in charge now.

3. I just don't want to hear any more about Monica. |

I'm not blaming Bill for the focus6 The press is Republican. They aren't asking Bush about his sex life. They wouldn't dare. Bush is a rapist.

OTOH do your children know or care who Monica is? Maybe Bill Clinton bores them? Or could you give them something else to do while you watch 60 minutes by yrself (cuz I think Bill will have a lot more to talk about than Monica)? Or will it be good for them to hear him take responsibility?

at the time of this brouhaha and the hunting of Clinton. But it was not hard to explain because every time they had asked a question (related to sex or any other subject) they got clear and concise answers that were not tainted by false morality. Sex is not a dirty word. You can have inappropriate sex, there are sex perverts that have sex with children for example, but Monica was not a child. And she was a willing participant. Not wise of Clinton to do it...power goes to men's heads (both of them). If you have very small children, you probably would not have them watching an interview with an ex-president anyway. That would bore them out of their skulls.
