Why The Media Hates Michael Moore
Apart from being shills for corporate America and Republicans, the media hates Moore because he has exposed them for being the lazy, incompetent, and unprofessional jerks they truly are. Any decent journalist could have easily uncovered the stories that Moore uncovered in his movie.

2. Because he disputes and disproves all the lies they live by
And makes them look like the bufoons and highly paid propagandists that they are.

10. Absolutely, and on top of that Michael works
for Michael Moore and can't be muzzled by the White House.

3. I believe the word you are looking for...
...is "whore"

It's not about journalistic integrity, or getting to the truth, or keeping the population informed so that we can make better decisions anymore. It's all about money to them. CNN, FOX, CNBC, MSGOP, are all owned by single corporations. If putting their fingers in their ears, and blaming Bill Clinton for everything and giving Bush a pass, puts more viewers on your station and more advertisers give you money, that's what they are going to do. I lost all respect for the media during the Reagan years...

4. Just look at that Matt Lauer interview on Dateline
The question begs, once again - - why didn't he ask the hard questions of the bushies the same way he tried to manhandle MM.

I applaud MM for standing up to and running over these journalistic shills for the house of bush.

8. I am suprised Moore didn't have to wipe the spit off his face
Laurer was practically foaming at the mouth. One expects an interviewer to remain dettached and objective. Laurer was in a rage.

5. What you say is true-
as far as it goes. Unfortunately, you must take into consideration WHO OWNS the media these days. Hint, hint: they AREN'T LIBERALS! I'm sure there are several journalists out there who DO know the true story, but aren't permitted to write a SINGLE word about it! Wonder why...

7. If the emperor is naked the media is his tailor
Moore is pointing and saying King George is stark naked. The media has to rush forward and defend their claims to save face.

12. also, he's a fat non-conformist...
the opposite of what corporate america is selling. the power of madison avenue is so great that it goes unrecognized. these people invented stealth war technology, and most americans have been overwhelmed by the daily onslaught of so called information. the corporations mold our thoughts, and we don't realize it. when trying to disparage our ryder cup team, the society editor of of the london times quipped, "the american team all appeared to be married to the same woman." the image of the thin, cheerleader, stewardess, blonde, is deeply ingrained in the minds of all american children by the time they are able to think for themselves. michael moore blows all this shit away, and is a genuine threat to corporate thought. i'm surprised he has not had an accident, ala wellstone, or an incident ala william casey. the journalists are merely protecting their jobs.

13. sadly this a big part of it...the fact that he is nonconformist & proudly
so... along with the fact that he is singularly not afraid to be assume a physical presence that seemingly offends so many--

His opponents are left totally disarmed and they DONT LIKE IT!
