Matt and Katie have become shills, to put it euphemistically. A noticeable change occurred during the Clinton years especially around the ML scandal. The straw that broke the camel's back was during the 2000 election cycle when, I guess, they were taking direct orders from Jack Welch, a Bush Pioneer and CEO of GE which owns NBC.

For the real deal on NBC and all of its iterations (MSNBC, CNBC) David Brock's Republican Noise Machine is must reading. These networks are as right wing as FOX but are much more devastating in terms of "informing" the general public (and thus electorate) because they are believed to be mainstream and credible.

Anyway, Mike will get the best revenge when his film breaks box office records on Friday! Go Mike; fuck Matt.
