Legitimate use of "Democrat party"
You want to see a Democrat party? Then wait till after next January's inauguration.

It doesn't?

What's MoveOn?

What's Democracy for America?

What's Progressive Majority?

What's the Center for American Progress?

8. lol!
you made my point. and where were these groups 4 years ago? A movement is not something that just pops up out of the woodwork. It takes dedication and leadership, not to mention a coherent and integrated world-philosophy.

Also, do any of these groups have serious staying power? Furthermore are they capable of marketing progressive opinions the way the Heritage Foundation is? Are they capable of identifying and recruiting new progressives the way the Leadership Institute does?

What sort of network do they have in Washington, DC and is integrated according to a commonly agreed upon elementary philosophy?

The list of questions goes on and on...Needless to say I am not overly optimistic at this time. Why does it take war and recession for progressives to start organizaing?

3. A Democrat is a member of the Democratic Party
Said Democrat will "party" after Kerry wins the election. Hence, the sentence is not using Newt-Speak, because it uses Democrat to refer to a member of the Democratic Party, followed by a grammatically correct usage of an alternate definition of the word "Party."

7. Actually I've always been a little ticked by the use of "party" as a verb
but sometimes you have to sacrifice grammatical niceness to make a point.
