A Good News Report From The South |
|
I just got back from a fishing trip to coastal North Carolina. My son and I went down there last Wednesday and came back last night. We noticed by the last day that we had seen on John Kerry bumper sticker, one for Howard Dean, but no a single one for George Bush. That was between the two of us. Surprising, pleasantly surprising.

in a very conservative county in NC (10th dist) which is dominated by Rethugs. In fact I beleive in many ways the 10th is an incubator for many very bad GOP policies. And while out and out support of Kerry is relatively rare, the people here have had it with Bush. The ones I ealk to anyway. That is as a rule working class folks. They realize and have realized for a long time now who has been screwin the pooch as it were. Excepting the WRBs of course.(White Rich Baptists)

I haven't seen a single *Bush sticker here in Oklahoma, which is pretty remarkable here. I have however, seen Kerry stickers popping up here and there.
Good news indeed.
