Kerry makes a splash.
Democrat John Kerry promised Monday to restore America's scientific leadership in the world and lift political barriers to potentially life-saving research, as he was endorsed by 48 Nobel Prize-winning scientists.

In his first campaign visit to Denver, Kerry called for renewed stem-cell research, saying more than 100 million Americans have illnesses or injuries that might be treated with stem-cell therapy.

In the picture that is part of this article they actually describe Kerry as 'fired up' under it. Really cool.

1. Sweet.
Maybe laypersons aren't privy to what is going on with science in this country..

Take the American Chemical Society, the ACS, for example. The ACS publishes several of the world's leading journals in chemistry. But in the last few months, the government has forbade the ACS from publishing a number of peer-reviewed scientific articles, because the authors are working out of places like North Korea and Iran.

This is modern day Lysenkoism. This is like the Nazis disregarding quantum physics and relativity as "jew science."
