Clinton's Revenge: Living Well |
|
Very few politicians have had enemies as nasty as the ones who beset President Clinton. They went through his trash, they talked to his neighbors, they peeped in his window. Throughout it all, he kept his head high and defied his politically motivated impeachment.
Living well is the best revenge. Clinton is now a millionaire many times over, and is revered as a great American leader. He still hasn't made any concession to his enemies. They've been exposed as small-minded zealots. Life is good.

1. Living well and doing good... |
|
His foundation has done some great things, esp. with helping get (relatively) low-cost AIDS drugs to Africa--a hell of a lot more than Chimpy's bogus initiative.
We haven't heard the last from the Big Dog! Like Letterman said last night, "He's one of those guys who won't stop talking and who's this complete genius! It drives me nuts!"

8. The Vanity Fair article about Clinton said that |
|
the White House only took an interest in AIDs when they were worried about Clinton showing them up. They called some people in and asked, "What is he up to?" Then Bush came out with his phony initiative with the big price figure.
People like Richard Gere mouthed off and said Bush was really doing something when Clinton did not. Then it turned out that Bush was faking as usual, the money didn't go to those countries because Bush had tied each dollar to impossible conditions for the countries to meet.
And of course the press never calls him on this, it's only death, horrible suffering and millions of orphans. It is simply unbelievable.

4. that's a really good point |
|
he neither has to worry about nor put up with that crap anymore.
and after his enemies spent so much of their energy and so many of our tax dollars, he sold over a million copies of his book before it was even released. and if he ran for president today, he'd win.
that's got to chap right wing's ass like a leather saddle.

you said it. The RW media whores can spin themselves into whirling dervishes, but it is quite obvious the people discern the truth.

9. I like him more now than I did then (if possible) |
|
His view of his enemies is truly inspiring. I don't know if I could be as gracious in his place.
