Opened here (NYC) yesterday. Press still all over the place. Sold out pretty much all day. Cried. Laughed. Clapped. Stopped breathing for a bit.
I really didn't think I could have hated bushco more, but thank you, Mr. Moore for teaching me I have no limits.
They're all going to burn.

I hope everyone in this country sees it. My husband refuses to go with me. I will be attending alone.

8. Very cool, malachibk!! |
|
Was there something in particular that made you stop breathing??
I'm a little nervous... I mean, I know what's coming, and I know I'm going to be angry, and scared, and pissed off...

10. Well, being from NYC, the 9/11 grief footage really got to me... |
|
Had to avert my eyes at some of the bodies, carnage, napalm meltings, etc.
Also, the personal story of one woman's transformation from pro-war to anti-war is truly amazing.

There are going to be parts that are difficult to watch for me... probably the same ones you've mentioned already.
How long is the film? I can't believe how much he seems to have been able to fit in.
It's almost like everything we've talked about on DU since January of 2001, truncated into a sock-you-in-the-face two-hour visual.
I'm scared, and ecstatic, at the same time. I don't think I've looked forward to seeing a movie more.

Because of this I have decided to watch the movie with lots of friends on Sunday. Rather than with my husband, smacking him on the shoulder every ten seconds saying "I told you about that!". I am sending him with my friend's hubby and sparing him a sore shoulder!

I'm going to a Saturday matinee... it's going to be a great weekend here at DU, as we gather to talk about this film. It's like we've reached fruition, if you ask me.
:loveya:
Sweet of you to save your hubby from shoulder-smacking, too!!!

|
. . . that it will be released on DVD in October. Just in time for you-know-what.
Bye-bye Bush. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

14. Oh, this is Really Good News! |
|
I was wondering when the DVD would be out...I can't believe it ..just in time for the October suprise for those who missed it if they stop MiraMax from advertising after July 30th.
I wonder how they would handle the advertising on the DVD?
