He's become an apologist for Bush campaign - thinks it's OK for Cheney to use the F word on the Senate floor, he thinks politicians should be 'human'. When Clinton did something he was not allowed to be human... Kerry isn't doing so well - everything's outside the margin of error. imagine a repuke saying these things about *. This guy is a stealth repuke like Stephanofoolus on Sun AM...
Klein's stock portfolio probably doing better this year than last - wants to preserve status quo. Zahn is an idiot as usual...tough to one-up her when it comes to 'moran' status...

1. I've seen Klein on CNN |
|
debating with Torie Clarke and he came down hard on Bush on nearly everything. Clarke looked like she wanted to come through the plasma and kick his ass. I'm kind of surprised that he would about face on him but anything is possible. Is Torie Clarke still on CNN or did she leave and join Shrubs re-selection campaign?

I guess Joe didn't see those new polls in Ohio and Florida. State polls are what matter most.

He committed the truth many times to the general dimay of the other pundits present.

these center-left folk seem to change on a dime - they won't spin for us. Now I'm all for truth, but you gotta stand up for us at least as hard the the Repukes stand up for themselves. That's why we lose - we're NICE GUYS...and we all know where they finish

6. Give Klein a break on this one |

I don't think shrugging your shoulders over Cheney's use of the F-word is being an apologist for the Bush campaign.
I'd defend one of our own on that front, wouldn't you? Most people use rough language at one time or another, even those that pretend they don't.
Frankly, there's enough dirt on Cheney that I couldn't care less about his F-bomb. Do I hope it makes the Bushistas look bad? Yes. Will I personally demonize Cheney for it? No. That, to me, smacks of a double standard. I defended Kerry's use of the f-word in his "Rolling Stone" interview.
There's plenty of other reasons to demonize Cheney, but ill-advised profanity isn't one of them. I think Klein's just playing it straight on this one.
