SOLD OUT for the day Fahrenheit 911 in Daly city, Ca |
|
Edited on Fri Jun-25-04 04:52 PM by BEFOREATHOUGHT
less than 5 min from SF. I have to wait another day to see it, GRRRRRR. Allot of people in line could be heard saying "shit the whole day is sold out" I bought tickets for Saturday.

Can you ever remember such a day for the opening of a movie? I can't.

3. Does anyone here at DU |
|
have sourced figures on BLOWOUT ticket sales in Florida? There was a posting to that effect earlier here, but the details were missing.
There's a guy on my union BBS who's sneeringly predicting it'll be a FLOP there. (He's a good guy otherwise). I generally make him look stupid, and with his own words. I'd like to do the same on this.

4. Better SOLD OUT than half-empty theatres, dontcha' think? |
|
This is terrific...word-of-mouth regarding "SOLD OUT" + reviews of those who have seen it will make this film even more HUGE!
I'm hoping to see it tomorrow. But, if it's sold out, that's okay. If it's a packed house...I'd rather have an undecided voter or "fence-sitter" occupying my seat. I can and will see it...later, if necessary.
:D
