Sorry if this is dupe, but Lisa Myers of the NBC crowd is awful |
|
I just saw her NBC Nightly News report on the truthfulness of F 9/11 and the only thing I saw that she was able to point out that I was able to grasp any significance in was some haircut-guy's unsupported assertion that "The connection between the Bush family and the Bin Laden family had nothing to do with 9/11."
Oh yeah? Well, a member of one family just happened to be the president of the United States of America, two of whose cites were attacked on September 11, and we are told that they were attacked by a group headed by a member of the Bin Laden family.
Also, the rouge of Ms. Myers was like some driveway striping plan on a crashed Commodor 64. I will be accused of misogyny for pointing out an appearance problem, but Chimpy, Cheney, O'Reilly et al are also all the targets of appearance remarks.

2. Mine was NBC, which noncable people watch |
|
The three threads cited were from a channel that only fancy-TV watchers are able to see.
Sorry, I should have clarified. I was talking about NBC, a channel whose nightly news cable refusers (and more viewers than MSNBC) get to watch.
Oh, yay.

3. Okay, now non-cable ABC is going to "tell the truth" on F9/11 |
|
WHAT WILL THEY FIND!?!
"controvershal"
ABC's Dan Harris:
airplane stuff: "those flights were greenlighted by Richard Clarke."
financial ties: again RClarke: "no connection" between 9/11 and Bush/BL ties (was this the point?)
major concessions on ABC's view of "truth" from the film.
Harris' conclusion: mush - as always.
Please join me in demanding a little more of nightly news on poor-folks' TV.

and Richard Clarke said that Bush's financial involvement with the Saudis and with the Bin Laden family had no effect on his handling of national security issues. He didn't dispute that there is a long financial history shared between them though. We all know that's true. Look, when this little documentary becomes the number one movie over the weekend they might change their tune. We are a force to be reckoned with and they better start fucking reckoning. You know what I mean?
