This Week in Review (not a bad week!) |
|
Edited on Sat Jun-26-04 06:57 AM by mandyky
Gov. Rowland (CT) - resigns in shame on corruption charges.
Senate candidate Ryan (IL) - quits Senate race over sex scandal.
W is interviewed by a special prosecutor for 70 minutes about the Plame outting.
Michael Moore's long awaited F911 is released and shows a different side of "just how well" W lead us on 9-11.
All in all, not a bad week for Democrats. But beware of the right, they have to be scared! And desperate people are dangerous people.

4. Oh, we can add to this list... |
|
1) the party of family values, and the self proclaimed "grown ups" had one of it's top two leaders caught cursing another member of our nations government, and on the floor of the Senate of the United States... says later that "he felt good about it".
2) Former President "Big Dog" is all over the tube, giving interviews, appearing in public to huge crowds of cheering people... and, most of all, reminding EVERYONE how articulate and knowledgeable he can be and how charming he can be, while admitting mistakes and taking responsibility for his failures. Sharp contrast to the nearly illiterate and inarticulate twig in the White House now. All of this while his memoir hits the NYT number one spot for non-fiction.
3) Back to the *,Crashcart/2004 for a second... let's not forget that they unleashed a personal attack against a number of prominent Democrats, and compared the "coalition of the wild eyed" leaders to Hitler, a comparison which they tried to hang on their Democratic rivals earlier ("How DARE MoveOn compare Bush to Hitler!!!) but failed when it was pointed out that MoveOn is not associated with the Kerry presidential campaign, and that MoveOn did NOT produced this Bush/Hitler political spot, it was simply submitted to a contest and then pulled voluntarily as being in poor taste. Didn't stop the */Crashcart ticket from actually DOING what they accused the Kerry campaign of doing... even worse, the negative spot on the "coalition of the wild eyed" completely misses the mark.
I'm sure there are more...

this place is my one outlet to "rage against the machine"... so I tend to post long rants (but usually fact filled rants). Maybe doesn't help anyone else here, but it helps me.
