Looking back over the past three and a half years, I am |

beginning to form a rationale for the Bush administration's methods in its dealings with the Arab world.I THINK THE MAIN THRUST OF THEIR POLICY IS TO CONVINCE THE ARABS/MUSLIMS THAT THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION IS NOT BOUND BY THE LAWS OF EITHER THE UNITED STATES OR INTERNATIONAL LAWS AND THEY WILL DO WHATEVER THEY PLEASE WHEN IT COMES TO ARABS OR MUSLIMS.This policy is exactly a mirror image of Ariel Sharon's policy in his dealings with the Palestinians. He may very well have convinced Bush of the need to violate all our laws in order to have an effective way to deal with the Arabs.Iraq was a perfect place to demonstrate this newfound Frontier Justice mode of the U.S. The confirmation of this view can be found in both Blair and Clinton's support for the policy. This entire group, Bush, Blair, Clinton,Sharon are convinced that the weakest link in the Western waays of dealing with Arabs/Muslims is to be found in our adherence to laws both internal and international, while the Arabs/Muslims conduct terrorist attacks by proxy against all infidel states like Israel, U.S. and India.
To convince the Arabs/Muslims that they are serious about implementing this policy, the Bush/Blair coalition has adopted a strategy of standing the Arabs' plans on their heads and used its own covert action teams to mount similar attacks and blame it on the Arabs. The War on Iraq must be seen as a Demonstration Project to show that the U.S. and Britain are willing to topple Arab governments and seize their oilfields if terror attacks don't cease. In fact, it was more effective for the U.S.to be seen as capable of lying to the UN Security Council in order to mount a preemptive war.
If my theory holds up there are many more corollaries that follow from these ideas.
I would like to see other DU'ers chip in with their opinions. Thanks in advance.

1. Yes, there appears to be four world governing entities... |
|
Origianl U.S. rules, laws, and good will standards. World and U.N. rules, laws, and good will treaties. Other country rules, laws, and good will standards.
Then there is THE RULE OF PNAC, the Cabal, the Military-Corporate-Banking-Media-Fundamentalist Complex comprised mainly of certain people in the U.S. and England with significant input from Australia and Canada.
For PNACers and the last group: Earth resources are their reason to be. People are expendable, a nuisance, and must be controlled, contained and coverted.
