Anything positive to report?

But like Misunderestimator, I do have a moderate friend. I might make a date to go see it with her.

8. Unfortunately I do. They're not really conservative, just politically |

2. Well, I took a "moderate" friend... |
|
and she was aghast... and so pumped up that she had an argument with her conservative mother this morning about it... definitely a film for the unconvinced. :)

But I couldn't convince any of them to go. They dismiss the film based on Moore's involvement alone.

10. My friend took her Bush loving mom |
|
and it had a huge impact on her.
From her email...
She believes now that Bush is horrible and has really messed things up, but she's not yet convinced that Kerry will do any better. So that's my goal from now until November. To convince her of that (subtly... so she doesn't know she's being lobbied. :-)).
The most promising thing she said at dinner was "Bush just seems to have this snide little smile on his face most of the time. Almost a sneer." My dad and I burst out laughing -- we couldn't help it. She's JUST NOW NOTICING THAT??? :-)

11. Explain to her what election reform is, and tell her she's welcome |
|
to ask President Kerry for some. :)
