5. Ah, 'tis a sight t'would bring a smile to my dear sainted great granny's
face! And make my mom jump and shout "Yippee, take that you bastard scum!"

My daughter is probably dancing around O'Malley's with the rest of the Irish rabble in Tucson.

8. I was just arguing with my bestfriend about this
(well, actually about our wonderful news media). My nephew is going to Iraq in August and she said she just heard on the news that things were more settled over there now and I said "you really need to get your news from another source". I said have you heard about the thousands of people protesting Bush in Ireland? She said she had heard there were a few - this doesn't look like a "few" to me. We're going to see F911 tomorrow, so I hope it opens her eyes to our news media and the BS we're fed on a daily basis. Go, Ireland - wish you were here to get us motivated to do the same in this country. I'm proud of ya.

Police put the number of protesters at 10,000 but organisers said it was between 30 and 40,000. "It's a fantastic turnout. We knew it would be big," said Richard Boyd Barrett of the Irish Anti-War Movement.

Further protests were being staged Friday in the towns of Sligo, Tralee, Waterford and Galway, and on Saturday demonstrators were planning to gather near Dromoland Castle -- the luxurious hotel not far from Shannon airport which is the scene for Bush's talks.
