As of today I'm gonna start doing something I've never done before which is write to my representatives about the issues.
The Gay marriage amendment vote I believe is to happen on July 12 (?) and the only way to get reps to get off their asses and do their jobs is to write to them.
I'm sure alot of you already do this, but this is just a heads up to those of you who are like me who have never done this before.
http://congress.org/congressorg/dbq/officials/That's the site, it even allows you to pick a formatted letter with the subject already in question (you get to choose from a list of issues currently in the spotlight (including the issue of the 9/11 comission findings and Bush and Co' screw-ups)
So if you have a few minutes take the time and send off an email. From what I understand here in Arizona at least the reps actually read their mail, I'm sure it's gotta be the same in your areas as well.
