Death threats from Right Wingers @ F9/11 Movie Friday

My Blind brother asked me to take him to see F 9/11 on opening day. We went to see it in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles.

He had made us both t-shirts that say "Don't let your ideology get in the way of the truth" with a little GOP Elephant cartoon below.

I also brought one of my Squeeze Voodoo Dolls to show around.

After the movie, we were outside and several people were asking me what the web address was to order the doll when we were approached by 1 man and 2 Woman who started calling us names - "Unpatriotic", etc...

When the man saw the doll, he told me that "I better watch my back, 'cause His people hunt down traitors like (me) and I just might end up like Nick Berg"

Clearly that was a threat of beheading. Is that unbelievable - Over a Doll!

I was sitting in the audience of a local TV studio to support a gay father against a hillbilly preacher.

My friend was in disguise because of his work and family situation.

During the commercial breaks, the people from the preacher's congregation on the first two rows would taunt him:

"What you in disguise for? We can find out who you are and where you live!" <good christians there huh?>

Also during a part where my friend said yes he teaches his kids to pray, two people behind me whispered to each other 'God won't hear their prayers'... when I turned to them and said 'When God stops listening to the prayers of children, I think we'll ALL be in big trouble' you should have seen the look on their faces. I think it actually hit them what they were saying instead of just being parrots of this backwoods preacher.

If I were you I'd make a police report over this - describe those nuts and give as much detail as you can.
