Still, he said he'd watch it when it when it comes out on dvd, which is a pretty big admission from a guy who didn't care much for "Bowling for Columbine".

5. Yeah, I am pretty sure mine doesn't want * back in the WH, even though
he is more conservative than I am. Still, conservative and fascist are not the same thing, and there is no doubt what Cheney and Bush are.

I like the suggestions in this thread, but not much. Suggest to him he
just needs to take you out on a date. Is it possible? And this is what you want to do. Good luck.

11. Oh, we are due a date all right. Our 11th Anniversary is on Saturday, BUT
as much as I want to see this film I don't want to do it then. *l* Would rather do our traditional trip to Bar Harbor for mini-golf and seafood.

I'll just go see the movie with my folks and a few friends. Hubby will catch it later on. (He's just not a cinema-going kind of guy. I have to twist his arm every time, not just with this particular movie.)

3. I'm having the same problem.
He says the movie "is full of inacurracies." When I asked what those inaccuracies were, of course, he didn't really have anything to say.

6. I don't blame him.
I went. I loved the movie. But I hate hate HATE going to movie theaters. Kids are so ill-behaved these days, it's not worth the hassle. In the last 5 years, I've been to the movie theater exactly three times: for the last Star Trek movie, for Spider-Man, and for F911.

I read somewhere about a theater that offers "no children" screenings. I would pay full price for that.

9. I went yesterday, to a 4:40 PM showing. There were no kids,
and hardly any twenty-somethings, in the audience. It was an older and more serious group than the usual movie audience, and quiet except for the chuckles or gasps at appropriate places.

Don't know if the audience make-up would be different in the evening or on weekends. Even though the theater was almost full, there were
no distractions.

12. I persuaded my husband to go with me
He was never really into politics until Bush kept screwing enough things up to catch his attention.

I've had the pleasure of spending the past 8 years with this man and I have NEVER seen him as angry as he was when he saw that movie. When the images of the Iraqi children came on screen I had to un clasp his hand around my arm because he was cutting off circulation.
