White House ignores terror polling data
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House on Wednesday dismissed opinion polls showing that many Americans feel the war in Iraq (news - web sites) has increased the danger of terrorism instead of reducing it.

Several surveys this month have shown growing public concern about the U.S.-led occupation of Iraq and its potential for fueling Muslim anger against the United States.

Asked about polling data, White House spokesman Scott McClellan told reporters that Americans understood administration policy was "making the world a safer and better place."

3. He'll be learning different on November 4 this year
Wait till the Bushies find out how much public opinion means. They will be moving back to Tennessee faster than you can say Jack Spratt.

6. Smug
They ignore it because they know all they have to do is ratchet up the next terror "event" and they will have people scurrying.

Think they have forgotten that heady feeling the post 9/11 approval rating gave them?
