1. Tom Squiteri (sp?) was an everyday operative in during the Clinton

character assassination. He seems to appear rarely now. They are bringing him out.

2. Righ Wing Spin Amazes Me

So....
Senator Kerry reaches out to Senator McCain just to feel the waters to see if he would accept a VP slot. Politically, McCain and Kerry are rarely in agreement, but they have enourmous personal respect for each other. So, we could see this as a gesture of of
bi-partisanship, Kerry showing that he is willing to set politics aside for the good of the country

But then Kerry picks Edwards. Someone he isn't personally friends with, but they have similar politics. So, we could say that Kerry is willing to set aside personal differences, again, for the good of the Democratic party and the country.

Instead, the Right Wing spins at as Kerry is a political opportunist.
