Philadelphia FOX News just mentioned Kerry tried to get McCain... |
|
Is there ANY documented proof of this claim?

no proof that he ever asked McCain. The two are friends, and that fueled alot of speculation.

Drudge posted it as a 'developing' link, NewsMax picked it up, followed by the Moonie Times. Drudge linked to the article citing his original 'developing' blurb. Rush mentioned it on his show, and O'Really and Hannity talked about it.
Then, it went over FOX news briefs and to the local affiliates.
That's how news is reported in 2004.

5. That line is spin by the Bushitters. |
|
They figure it demeans John Edwards. Shows how desperate they're getting.
Faux news of course is just regurgitating that pablum.

Why do you continue to perpetuate the myth that John Kerry attempted to get John McCain to join the Democratic ticket? There is NO, I repeat, NO proof of this, and it is irresponsible journalism to even suggest it, let alone state it as fact as you did on tonight's news broadcast. I always thought that you had more integrity than the national Fox News Channel, but now it's beginning to seem that you are nothing more than a mouthpiece for the White House talking points, just like the FNC. Consider me disappointed, and most likely a former viewer. I'll certainly think twice about supporting any advertisers that support such sloppy journalism.
Not the best I could do, but I'm tired. :)

7. If Kerry asked McCain, why not go straight to McCain? |
|
The answer is that McCain has said that Kerry did NOT ask him to be VP.
