Bush web site Talking points on Edwards, this is funny!!!

When John Kerry's first choice for a running mate turned him down, he turned to the polls.

After stating that he needed a vice president who could step in as President, John Kerry chose the one man he called too inexperienced to be President just months ago.

John Kerry's selection of John Edwards is a flip flop on the most important decision a candidate for the presidency makes in the course of his campaign.

A candidate's selection of a Vice President is a sign of how he will lead. In John Kerry's case we know he'll settle for number two; that he will turn to the polls; and that he will make the most politically expedient choice.

What Does The Kerry/Edwards Ticket Stand For? On the most important issues facing our country—growing the economy and winning the War on Terror, the Kerry/Edwards ticket is out of the mainstream.

Senator Edwards delivers his pessimism with a southern drawl and a smile, but his message of a divided America rings hollow in the ears of an optimistic America that is united in meeting the tests of our times with strength and hope.

Ha ha, I bet I see this crap word for word in my local paper! Edwards is after all known for his pessimism! :D

Bill Clinton in 1992 delivered a message about hard-working people who "play by the rules" and rich people who cheat.

The message didn't ring hollow then. Now we're faced with a greater gap between rich and poor and a more crooked administration.

2. This is a pathetic pile of rubbish
Where is the proof that Kerry offered anybody the VP first? Where??

If this is the best they can do (and it surely is!) they are in trouble.

Senator Edwards delivers his pessimism with a southern drawl and a smile :eyes:

Though the more strident hate pieces on each of the candidates during the primary season were even more hilarious. :)

8. look at shrub's choice
after saying that cheney would lead the search for veep and he would choose from cheney's list, he chose the one man has said wasn't even up for consideration: cheney.

after stating that he needed a veep who would be a heartbeat away from the presidency, he picked a man with no apparent heartbeat. or heart, for that matter.

cheney delivers cynicism and lies with a sneer.

shrub's selection of veep is a sign of how he leads: by letting his subordinates manipulate him into thinking that what they themselves want was his idea to begin with.
