Online 2004 Mock election has Libertarian candidate leading. Seriously.
http://www.uselectionatlas.org/USPRESIDENT/GENERAL/CAMPAIGN/2004/mock04.php

Right now, I'd say this election is lacking some credibility since the Libertarians unleashed the turnout.

So far, 568 of them have voted, compared to 526 Democrats and 345 Republicans.

The US results are 711-657 for Badnarik (LP guy) over Kerry. 351-155-7 in the Electoral vote.

Kerry is up in the "World" totals by a margin of 7 votes (723 to 716)

Yes, the LP has 5 votes there.

So, I'm not sure how to say this subtlely.. but all it takes is a free registration to vote. Please, vote from your own state (unless you are VP Cheney, then you can vote from Wyoming or Texas).

And let me go over the states, for those of you who haven't clicked yet. Kerry is in second place in these states, unless I say otherwise.

California: LP up by 31 votes
Texas: LP by 14 votes
Missouri: LP by 2 votes
Florida: LP by 4 votes
Ohio: LP by 4 votes
Oregon: LP by 2 votes
Colorado: LP by 3 votes
Illinois: LP by 5 votes
New Hampshire: LP by 6 votes
Virginia: LP by 13 votes
South Carolina: LP by 1 vote
Alabama: LP by 3 votes
Louisana: LP by 1 vote
Arkansas: LP by 1 vote
Tennessee: LP by 12 votes
Michigan: LP by 6 votes
Wyoming: LP by 1 vote
Montana: LP by 1 vote
Arizona: LP by 5 votes
Kansas: LP by 5 votes
Oklahoma: LP by 7 votes

And here are some of the bizarro results..

Vermont: Bush has 2 votes, LP has 1 vote, Kerry has 0 votes
Hawaii: 3 votes for Bush, 1 for Kerry
Puerto Rico: 1 vote for Bush

Tied states:

Idaho - 3 for Kerry, 3 for Bush
Utah - 6 for Kerry, 6 for LP
West Virginia - 8 for Kerry, 8 for LP
Connecticut - 6 for Kerry, 6 for Bush
Rhode Island - 2 for Kerry, 2 for LP

So, since this is up with less than 4 months to go. There's time left. But every state is in play. Yeeeah.

In theory, we can make this a bit more realistic. ;)

("But, you mean President Badnarik isn't gonna happen?")

So, go out and vote and do all that. I hope there isn't more to this process. I hope I got this on the right forum. Yeah yeah.

The site that this election is on rocks too. So feel free to look around.

1. Well, I voted. You have to register to do that, but it's free.
I don't see this one getting much publicity, but I figured I'd give them some competition anyway.

2. Thanks
The Atlas site rules too (IMO). The registration is quick and painless.

The other info on the site is cool. Edwards won 3 out of the 16.5 million (;)) counties in Texas in their primary.
