Translation for you who don't speak conservateese, "He hasn't been in Washington long enough."
I told him I thought that didn't make a hell-of-a lot-of-sense.
He asked why
I said, "Because what you're telling me is, He isn't a Washington insider. I thought conservatives hated insiders. That's why you voted for Arnie and Georgie. Because they were outsiders."
He told me not true, and changed the subject to what was wrong with Edwards.
