This admin is clearly run by/for corporations and they have come out against: transparency, fairness, unions and more by this latest gem.

Business lines up against Kerry's pick

By BARRIE McKENNA
From Wednesday's Globe and Mail

Washington -- To many Americans, North Carolina Senator John Edwards is a champion of the little guy. But in U.S. corporate boardrooms, Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry's chosen running mate is pretty close to the devil incarnate -- a former trial lawyer who made a fortune suing them.

snip

Breaking with a long tradition of neutrality in presidential races, chamber president Tom Donohue said he plans to throw the weight of the world's largest business organization -- "the best people and the greatest assets we can rally" -- to beat Mr. Kerry specifically because his running mate is Mr. Edwards.

The same US chamber of Commerce which supports "outsourcing". Black is white..up is down.

1. The economic agenda of the Republican is becoming very clear each
day.It is to hollow out the core of the American economy by outsourcing( manufacturing in China, technology in India). This is a prescription to impoverish the American middle class as they scramble for low wage work with no benefits. The corporations can not merely increase their margins, they would have vastly expanded their markets beyond the U.S.India and China alone account for more than 40% of the world's population.

The increasing poverty of America's middle class will make them more and more desparate and they will cease being a political force. When all the economic power is in the hands of the corporate oligarchy, the American Constitution which started out promising every citizen
the freedom to pursue his calling will be dead.

This insidious process is already at work.Unless we elect Jon Kerry and John Edwards, the old American ideal of giving every citizen a voice and the opportunity will be gone.

3. literally rebuilding our govt (corruption), judicial, media rules
it's out of wack..you can add water and hope it will be better.

It starts with an understanding that business has too much power over our govt. and the people.
