That Witch on CNN!
Edited on Wed Jul-07-04 09:11 AM by freetobegay
Judy Woodruff use to just annoy me, but seeing her subsitute last night for Paula Zahn (another witch) just makes me wanna :puke:

She tries to look & act like Mary Poppins, but in reality is probably the worst when it come to journalism & being un biased. She did everything in the book to try to discredit Edwards on everything! But the panel wasn't buying.

8. It is Darian Kagan
who looks like Sandra Bullock.

Woodruff reminds me of someone that I had a bad experience dealing with. And that's all I got to say about that.

2. Express yourself
There is a poll being taken by The Village Voice, http://villagevoice.com , about newscasters and you can tell them what you think about these folks. I truly enjoyed expressing my opinion about Bill O'R there. I'm not sure exactly how you get to it, I was reading the article about M Moore's Monday meeting and it was at the top of the page. But when I went back, it wasn't. But it's there somewhere.

3. It's a world gone mad
Judy did kinda do a hatchet job on Edwards... And I like her, but she did tick me off... Now what surprised me the most was how gracious (I can't beleive I'm using that word next to this one...) O'Reilly was about Edwards... He got in the right wing trial lawyer thing, but on the whole, he was pretty gentle with him... It truly is a world gone mad...

5. Hi DemWitch, welcome to DU!
O'Reilly? Gentle? You have a far greater constitution than I, for whenever I see his face my pacifism dissolves into the ether, and my blood pressure rises to the boiling point. It is for this reason that I don't watch news on TV, except, of course, "fake" news with Jon Stewart.

Lots of dem witches and pagans here, but darn, that is a cool name!

6. O'r is also the right wing fake moralist.
What Bennett Falwell and Robertson can't say, O'Reilly pursues with his own twists and guidance from Murdoch through his directors. When the rest of the world is talking about some Halliburton, Brown & Root, Bechtel, Cheney, Carlyle Crime du Jour...O'r is digging in on some trivial issue that he treats as a grand moralistic biggie. He's just doing his job for the right. And when any countering truth emerges from his 'grillee', he yells shut up in one or another of his variations of shut up.

7. Candy Crowley last night on Aaron Brown
http://www.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS...

BROWN: And we did not hear at all, did we today, from Senator Edwards? He showed his face and that was it? CROWLEY: No. This was -- you know, it's interesting. This is -- as you know, Senator Kerry has had a hard time sort of breaking through the national headlines. There's been so much going on in Iraq and up on the Hill with the 9/11 Commission, that sort of thing.

So, they're kind of soaking this sunlight up. So, today was a day where we got the news and Kerry was solo, and so was John Kerry -- I'm sorry, John Edwards, but Edwards didn't say anything.

Tomorrow we're finally going to get a picture of the two of them together, even though they are together now up at Mrs. Heinz-Kerry's farm. So, they're kind of spreading this out, so tomorrow they're hoping to get sort of more stories off of this and then push into the weekend trying to make -- get as much bounce as they can off the announcement.

BROWN: Candy, thank you. Candy Crowley in Pittsburgh tonight.
