This is the stuff that makes me CRAZY. Did you have any idea that 14 soldiers died in the last week? Look at the number of dead soldiers used in this article. Look at it!
Has the media no concept of consequence?
Do they think this level of corrupt stupidity can endure?
Can they not see that the ignorance and hatriotism they are sowing will eventually find THEM, even in their gated communities and country clubs?
I was at the Kerry announcement yesterday in Pittsburgh and I considered screaming at the assembled media wretches. I said to my friend that there is the enemy and I am silent. And I know that they are just people, many of them are of average to good intelligence, and they have bodies and homes and kids and they eat, sleep, and shit. I understood their humanity and the murdering ways of the fascists they are against.
I really considered it for a minute. I stared at them on their stage and I felt a mixture of things, including my own cowardice, a lack of the right words, shyness, stupidity, etc. I am not a black and white person and I labor to avoid saying things without qualifiers and asides and questions...as many here understand, it is hard to shout metaphysics. I didn't know how to do what I wanted to do, but, now, thinking about it, I wish that I had known what to do and that I had screamed at them. Because they should be screamed at.
When I read this GARBAGE about 644 dead soldiers, I feel only rage. I'll try to remember this feeling next time I see the media.
They need to be screamed at. They need to be shook out their fog. Fuck their haircut and cellphones and human worries. They need to do their goddamn job or we are going to be killed.

Four more United States marines have been killed in action in Iraq's restive Al-Anbar province, the US military said, taking its death toll in the region to 14 in just over one week.

An Islamist website later carried a statement attributed to a Zarqawi group claiming responsibility for the deadly attack.

"Thanks be to God, the toll was two helicopters down, including an MH-47 Chinook, and two Humvees destroyed with their occupants on board," it said on the a website.

The latest deaths raised to at least
644 the number of US soldiers killed in action in Iraq since last year's US-led invasion.
