The Whore Press is going to do its best to tear Edwards down
And will spend the next few weeks parroting every talking point the GOP sends them about Edwards.

We need to be extra vigilant in calling out "bullshit" every time the media tells a lie, half truth, or distortion about JE.

1. and BUSH and CHENEY get free passes and don't even have
to run negative ads.

This is what they did to Clinton.

We now know FOR SURE that the press is not for the people

2. Smirk and Dirty Dick get command access to the airwaves
Anytime Kerry or Edwards get to say a few words on TV or have an uptick in the polls, Repubs are trotted out to "rebut" and trash.

ABC and CBS only waited for Kerry to utter the word "Edwards" to attack the newly-minted ticket. Then they trotted out the Repubs to trash the Kerry-Edwards ticket. ABC did it Tuesday evening on World News Tonight. CBS had an extended trashing of the ticket on their Early Morning News (or whatever they call it).

Surprisingly, NBC was a bit lower key, using a Wednesday Today show "interview" with Sen. Dole (R^2-NC) delivering a trashing of her senior NC senator, Edwards.

3. Reading the local rags AP feed
on the pick yesterday, I thought it notable that they stressed that Kerry had picked Edwards a "rich former trial lawyer". I was shocked, not knowing until that moment that there are "rich" people in the Senate.

4. Frank Luntz selects the Repug vocabulary by working with focus groups ...
... and the media adopts Frank's buzzwords.

That's where we got TRIAL LAWYER.
