3. I'm really glad that Kerry is taller than Edwards
I know its superficial, but Kerry towering over Edwards gives the clear impression that he (Kerry) is #1 and Edwards is #2.

Dumb, but subtle little things that pictures sometimes tell you.

8. Reagan was shorter than Pappy Bush
and they made photographers take pics of them from certain angles so Reagan would appear taller.

9. Does Edwards have an older daughter?
In addition to the two younger kids?

Someone just asked me this AM if they do and I had no idea.

12. yes, just graduated from Princeton...
Not sure if she was younger than her brother or what.

Also, seems that for all of Kerry's rep as being "standoff-ish", he is really more like Clinton in his physicality. Clinton is very touchy-feely, and it looks like Kerry is similarly inclined. That's a good thing.

14. What a joy to open this thread. thank you.
So much life in this group, so much hope and positive energy.

Jack and Emma Claire are absolutely adorable.

A snip from a Florida paper this morning:

Kerry's charismatic pick excites Democrats
The party faithful say John Edwards can help win Florida. The pair campaign in St. Petersburg tonight.

>snip<
Even in Graham's home state, Democrat after Democrat cheered the choice of 51-year-old Edwards Tuesday. Many suggested he can be as helpful to Kerry in Florida - which boasts 27 electoral votes - as Graham would have been. Polls show a dead heat in Florida.

"Edwards is going to be able to communicate with people in a way that Floridians haven't seen in a very long time - since the old he-coon, Lawton Chiles," said U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek of Miami, chairman of Kerry's Florida campaign. "He definitely plays well in South Florida, he plays really well in Central Florida, and guess what: Here's a candidate who can hold his own in North Florida."

IF YOU GO

WHERE: Coliseum, 535 Fourth Ave. N, St. Petersburg.

WHEN: Organizers encourage you to arrive by 7:30 p.m., although the candidates aren't expected until two hours later.

19. Amazing! Photogenic, Warm, Authentic
These guys are an incredible team, we should be VERY excited. All things being equal (unfortunately they're not) they should wipe the floor with the scumbags of Bushco.
