Local radio wingnut this AM:
Kerry looked soooooo French! And Teresa is soooooo hard to look at!

That's it. No explanation, no nothing. What the hell does "so French" look like? And what is "so hard to look at" about Teresa? I realize these are wingnut memes, but honestly! What the fuck is up with these assholes:?

:wtf:

1. I told him wearing the stripy sweater and string of onions was a bad idea.
Seriously. How do you 'look so French'?

8. Correct
It is so played... these people waste so much energy in anger think of what we all could accomplish if they really worked for good rather than petty, trite vengeances.

5. Limbaughism
I first heard this on a brief visit to Limbaugh's show -- it does not make a freaking bit of sense. However there are stooges still wandering the country with bumper stickers that say boycott France. POSs.

9. You know, that really was all they had.
No comment on the substance, no comment on the pros/cons of picking Edwards, not even any comment on the possible benefits of having this take place in Pittsburgh, putting us in the national spotlight in a great way. Nothing substantial in any way.

Just Kerry looking French and Teresa being hard to look at. Can't they get a more updated stoopid talking point?

Douchebags.

10. Speaking as a man
I think Mrs. Kerry is a nice looking lady and what exactly is "so French"? This guy is just another one who understands that the gravy train will end soon and he may actually have to find a job where he has to think, or worse yet,use physical labor.

15. Yes I heard that - I usually hear him or the other RWingnut
Jerry Bowyer on WPTT as I drive in to work.

Pintek is definitely an idiot. I'm ususally screaming at the radio cause he's so uninformed on the details of the news. And then he has this whiny tone in his voice. I'm many mornings imitating his whiny voice screaming the facts at the radio. When the hell will these idiot stations figure out there's a whole market of us who aren't being served. Amazing how they all keep trying to take slices from the same half of the stinky pie.

I'm not a big Howard Stern fan but that's where I may be tuning in when he comes back to Pittsburgh radio in a bit over a week.

I'd be listening to Howard Stern! But I am very psyched to start tuning in when he comes back to the airwaves here in Pittsburgh.

16. You mean the people that were right about Iraq? Those French?
I really don't understand the right's continued fury at France's "betrayal". The last year and a half has proven them right.

There's a weird sort of doublethink going on with conservatives these days. We are righteous warriors who fight evil, but torturing children is no big deal and perhaps we should just nuke Iraq anyway.

The French betrayed the US by not helping remove Iraq's WMD, but it really doesn't matter whether the WMD are there or not.

We have to go to war to enforce UN regulations, but the UN's opinion doesn't matter.

I really don't know how you hold all these beliefs in your head at the same time. I think that's why they act like such assholes.

17. This will backfire on the wingnuts.
There are plenty of Americans of French descent who are rightly proud of their ancestry. The republican's absurd smear campaign against all things French will rusult in a net loss of supporters, as they see the true bigoted hateful nature of the GOP.

I'm not French, but I think France is wonderful. France gave the world many great things like LaGrange, Laplace, Lavoisier, and Fourier. Master engineers, scientists, and artists.

'Cause there isn't one. Which is what this all is... bigotry. A cousin of racism against France.

20. There is no "French" race
France is as big a melting pot as the USA. France has Vietnamese, Cambodians, and Laotians who settled after they lost Indochina. They have the largest Jewish population in Western Europe. They have a large North African population. There are millions of French of Italian ancestry in the south east. Over one million Spanish came across the border into southwestern France to settle during the Spanish revolution. There are more Corsicans on the French mainland than live in Corsica. There are many of Russian descent who fled to France during the Russian revolution. There are many Armenians (such as Charles Aznavour) who came after the Turkish horrors visited on the Armenians. The northeast has Germanic people in Alsace and Lorraine. The northwest has Celtic people in Brittany and Celtic people throughout the central part of France (Gauls were Celts). The north central part of France had Norsemen settle there in the Middle Ages and became known as Normandie. There are many of Greek, Polish, and Equatorial African descent. The southwest has dark-haired, dark-skinned Basque people, among the oldest settlers in Europe. The southwest has Gypsies. Anyone who has visited France knows that you see people who represent every part of the planet in the French population.
