Cheney better than Edwards because "Cheney can be President."
That was Bush*'s answer to a question from a reporter (who referred to how Edwards was a very appealing candidate) on how Cheney might be better than Edwards.
OF COURSE CHIMPY KNOWS THIS BECAUSE:

C H E N E Y I S A L R E A D Y T H E P R E S I D E N T!

But he also has screwed all of us royally.

and I am A LIBERAL and proud of it.

2. NPR last night
They quote Mary Matalin claiming that Edwards is just too damn inexperienced to be president since he hasn't been in politics that long.

The inoffensive NPR host of course let that slide, but let's compare their first 40 years of life: Bush v. Edwards. Bush: an obnoxious drunk who wrecked everything he touched until bailed out by daddy. Edwards: built a successful law firm and amassed a sizable fortune from a modest background by defending individuals from abusive corporations. Which do YOU think better qualifies someone to be president?

4. Is Edwards' senate seat up for election this year?
If it is, that means he has been in Washington for 5 1/2 years and the shrub has only been in Washington for 3 1/2 years, so that means Edwards had more national experience than shrub.

Someone might know how long Edwards has been on his committees which would give him specialized experience for the length of his membership on those committees. That should count a little more than ignoring boring briefings.

8. Yes
Erskine Bowles is running for Edwards' seat. He lost two years ago to Liddy Dole for Jesse Helm's former seat, but he's the favorite this time, running against a pea-brained republican congress critter.

10. So he does have more national experience than Shrub!
Liddy was a big disappointment on Matthews last night. I thought she thought for herself, but she was echoing the party line almost down to quoting Frist word for word.

I saw something on the news yesterday where a reporter caught Frist before he had read his Republican talking points. He completely reversed himself from one interview to the other. Can you spell flip-flop.

3. * was so rattled he couldn't even come up with an
answer to any question. Loved how he ran out claiming a reporter looked too hot, how pathetic.

6. Combine that remark with "I'm not going to lose"
It sounds like the fix is in or will be in for Bush-Cheney. That's how I interpret Bush's remarks. I could be wrong.

7. Bev Harris is planning a trip here this month.
I take nothing for granted re: *'s desire to stay in office but many in this state are angry over the illegal war, unemployment and lack of care re: our troops.
