God. Are we gonna have to suffer this for the next 4 months?

IMO, simply code for "W does what he thinks is right even when it turns out to be so utterly, horribly wrong. So lay off him."

1. Especially since Republicans don't have any? You bet
Randi Rhodes: The "W" in 'Dubya' stands for "WHATEVER...."

2. I've Been Tired Of It Since The First Time I Heard It!
I don't blame ya! It's a stupid phrase, and it's meaningless as well. (Well except for the version you decoded.)

5. Moral clarity = too stupid to know he's wrong.

9. You have to talk like an idiot to win an election.
Sorry, it's true. Election rhetoric is not for grownups.

8. "Moral clarity" means "I am right and everyone else is wrong."
I also hate "The adults are in charge now." Talking about Dick "Go Cheney yourself" Cheney, no doubt.

13. That's exactly right.
And what ideologue or zealot-wannabe wouldn't love to have a few of those buzzwords to drop into a conversation at the bowling alley - makes 'em seem downright patriotic - don't it?

The question is - where are the value laden buzzwords from the left?

14. Exactly. "Moral clarity" means never having to admit you're wrong.

10. I stepped in moral clarity once. I then wiped it off my shoe
though I cleaned it well...the stink remained.

11. It's a buzz-term.
It's supposedly a good thing. Hitler had moral clarity - that was one of his biggest problems.

12. It's so obvious what they do.
They (the RNC) come up with a list of potential buzzwords and hot phrases that fit their ideology. Then they focus group them and test the winners in smaller markets.

This goes on continuously as world and domestic events change the politics.

Then they take the best of the bunch and those become the talking points that are refined, updated and distributed daily to Rush, O'Reilly, Drudge, Matthews, Savage, Hannity, etc.

This way they benefit from millions of dollars a week in on-topic advertising messages for their candidates and their goals - virtually free of charge.

We have very few captive outlets for our message - and it seems like there is virtually zero coordination of our message from those we do have like Randi and Franken. I have heard them joke about anti-puke memes during their programs - then I never hear it again - which just shows that they are not getting any message advice from the DNC and that there is no coordination at the top.

Repetition is one of the most powerful concepts in effective marketing - that we seem to be oblivious to.

Kerry/Edwards have raised millions on-line, some of it from my own donations. But I think the pukes have us beat halfway to hell with their ability to make their dollars go ten times as far.

Sorry to rant.

16. almost as sick of that as
the phrase "politically motivated". every time someone calls these thieves and liars on their scam (like medicare) they fall all over themselves to claim it is only about "playing politics." a meaningless, useless phrase that translates into, "we have no rebuttal for that, so we shall attack you for saying it."
