Joke just sent to me by a Pug relative.
George and Laura Bush and Bill and Hillary Clinton are traveling by train to the Super Bowl.

At the station, George and Laura each buy a ticket and watch as Bill and Hillary buy just one ticket.

"How are the two of you going to travel on only one ticket?" asks George W, astonished at what he is seeing.

"Watch and learn," answers Hillary. They all board the train. George and Laura take their respective seats but Bill and Hillary cram into a toilet together and close the door.

Shortly after the train has departed, the conductor comes around collecting tickets. He knocks on the toilet door and says, "Ticket, please."

The door opens just a crack and a single arm emerges with a ticket in hand.
The conductor takes it and moves on.

The Bushes see this happen and agree it was quite a clever idea. So after
the game, they decide to try a similar plan on the return trip.

When they get to the station they see the Clintons at the window buying a
single ticket for the return trip.

To their astonishment, the Clintons see that the Bushes don't buy any ticket at all.

"Aren't you taking a terrible chance by traveling without a ticket?" says Hillary.

"Watch and learn," answers Laura Bush.

When they board the train the Bushs cram themselves into a toilet and the
Clintons cram into another toilet just down the way.

Shortly after the train is on its way, George W. leaves their toilet and walks over
to the toilet in which the Clintons are hiding.

George W. knocks on their door and says, "Ticket, please."

(And you're still trying to figure out how the Democrats lost that
election.)

I guess they were trying to tell me they thought Bush was smarter than Clinton, but I sure don't see it that way at all!

I also add that this originated from Camp Pendleton and was addressed to "Not for Democrats".

1. So they admit that the Bush family are crooks?
Sure sounds like it.

P.S.--that joke is as old as the hills.

3. The first time I saw this joke it was about ethnic groups
Not surprised the Repugs are appropriating that sort of humor.

4. Reply: Bush stole it?
We already knew that. Glad you're finally admitting it.

You did hit reply all and say that didn't you?

5. Sorry, no, I didn't.
The person I received this from is my sister-in-law, and her husband is a retired Marine Officer....25 years in the Marines. I really like them both, and although we both vehemently disagree in our politics, I prefer to just leave them alone on this. I will never change their opinion, and they will never change mine. Sometimes ya just gotta pick your battles, ya know.

6. I do
Some of my family is the same. My sister sent me the SSI email. I've been deleting her emails for years. This time, I hit reply, just to her and my sis-in-law, and my nieces; provided myth links from the actual SSI.gov web site and left it at that. No more emails and they're still coming to my daughter's wedding.

Oh, and my sis-in-law had been sending photos of our troops and I thought that meant she was a war supporter. I finally told her that if she was sending them in that light, I didn't want them. She popped back, "I am in NO WAY supporting this war." WOW!

And one more thing, they live in Arkansas.

Wanted you to know that sometimes it works out okay. :-)
