Is it true that Nader's polling at 6%
I read that off the latest TIME (if I remember correctly), and that's pretty worrisome. :argh: Remember when all the pundits said he wouldn't even get 1% (as opposed to the election-throwing 4% last time)? Well, what the hell?

If we get four more years because of him, I'll kill Nader myself.

2. CNN
said he was polling at 4%...

I am not overly worried. I don't think he'll get on more than 10 ballots and I think when voters come out their want to eliminate Bush will override any romantic thoughts about propping up an egotistical independent.

3. I strongly discount the 6% figure
He didn't even get closet to that percentage in 2000 and there's no way he'll get more.

I don't know how they'd figure it out, but I bet a small, but not insubstantial number of poll respondents are "Cheneying" the poll by answering Nader.

4. 2.7 % of the total vote last time...No fucking way it'll be higher.
Not this time around.

5. No way it's that high--more like 0.6%
He turned too many voters off after 2000, has no national party backing and is a frumpy, boring old man to boot.
