4. agreed. it makes too much sense.
It woud be really smart of * to get a new runningmate. really smart.

But look at Bush history. The fact that GHW Bush did not shed Quayle when he desperately needed to revamp his image (and purge a huge embarrassment with zero political clout) should tell us all we need to know.

@#$%^ is running the government. Why would he get rid of himself? Remember, he gave orders to the military to shoot down airplanes after 9/11, even though legally he is not in the "chain of command"
