very exciting. can't announce anything specific until I clear things with my cast tomorrow but...

I'll be able to give you details soon! if all goes according to plan you'll get to hear 2-3 songs from the show and an interview with cast members, etc.

we also had serious *nibbles* from two heavyweight media people who are based in NYC...

and, since we'll be going into the recording studio, I'll also be able to post a mp3 soon.

now, if I can just keep from imploding before the opening on Monday!

there is ZERO chance that this production will tour anywhere.

the cast has solid roots, jobs, families here.

there WILL be a video by early fall but... unless other theatre groups want to mount a production (which I would LOVE), there is no chance of performances outside of NYC at this time.

it will be a LONG weekend waiting for Monday night...

you spend MONTHS and suddenly, it's just DAYS away...

got home a little while ago from our first rehearsal 'on-stage'

it was rocky with the cast learning what to do with the mikes, mike stands, stools, etc. but... they sound great.

since i wrote all the material, i'm numb to it now. i think audiences will be 'rocked' but you never know until it's in front of people...

there will be an opening night report.

50. I have been at a dead run for over a month.

The MTF/Ultimate Coast-to-Coast Iron Butt ride thing - started in Key West on 6/10 and ended in Prudhoe Bay on 6/24 (yes, 14 total riding days on everything from Harleys to a Yamaha FJR sport bike) and I was the Assistant Site Coordinator for Alaska.

I'll be posting a link to a great slide show about the ride, the grizzly, the caribou, the sheep, the bikers etc. WHEN I can get it organized - 9 rolls of film already developed.

This insanity included a huge BBQ/banquet in Wasilla, satellite telephones, our motor home pulling a 4-bike trailer and returning with WAY too much weight being pulled through Atigun Pass.
