Kerry's and Edwards' interest trumps Bush's and Cheney's by long shots. This will be interesting as a cowboy and oilman are pilloried by the media which favours a gigolo and an ambulance chaser.

The operative word is "earned". While Kerry, undoubtedly has access to the greatest amount of cash, he didn't earn it, he married it. I also can't bring myself to call what trial lawyers do, earning.

How slanted! Thurston Howell Kerry and MZ. Ketchup beat everyone else by a huge factor with the multiple estates, yachts, etc. Sheesh, they're just trying to make Cheney look bad again.

What a crock.. I just sent a letter to the Tampa Bay editor: Let's see if I get this right: just last week it was reported that Teresa Heinz-Kerry is worth over $1 Billion, this articles states that she reported earnings for 2004 as $5 Million
By other reports, the Bush family made far less than the Kerry family, yet paid twice as much in taxes in 2004... but the second paragraph says: that Dick and Lynne Cheney earned the most in 2004 with a whopping total of $1.3 million. Huh?!? No bias in reporting here, eh?

tycoons who made their fortunes by screwing people (Kerry, Edwards, George Soros, Joseph P. Kennedy, Larry Flynt...) HATE those who came by their money honestly, through hard work, answering decent folks' demand for useful goods & services

Kerry's income comes mostly from bonds which are non-taxable and do not show up on his income tax form. I would imagine he and his wife receive millions a month this way. With assets of $600 million, that is a lot of money.

OK...I'll bite...let's consider how the candidates made their money, or in Kerry's case, MARRIED it...TWICE. And his sidekick suited the heck out of companies as only oportunistic trial lawyers can.
Bush and Cheney earned their dough and are now giving something back. I think I'll vote for them.
