My husband and I were reviewing our finances and retirement acocunts this morning. Yes, things have improved this year, but they're nowhere near where they were under Clinton. We still haven't made up the lost ground.

Although I am younger than you, I have lost my high paying job as well. Now I am having to attend technical school to retrain for a job that can't be sent overseas...I won't make the same money but I don't care as long as I have a job....

I saw a news special while channel surfing, and health ins premiums are up by 40% in the last three years.
Try factoring in that little expense when looking at your standard of living.
