Would B*sh Resign rather than face humiliating Defeat?
It would be a convenient way to get out of the debates, now, wouldn't it?

1. Much easier to cancel the elections than resign. Might give the
public the idea that he and his gang were'nt obeying the law. Plus, if they can get rid of all the environmental laws, grab that oil in Iraq, and give the entire treasury to defense contractor these guys will never have to work again. Of course, there is some question if Bush has ever worked a day in his life!

Nice magazine picture btw.

7. Of all the scenarios
that could possibly happen in this particular election year this one is as likely as monkeys flying out of my butt, or F-9/11 not making at least $100 million. I really like the Time cover though, You gotta dream, right? :D

CONNECTING THE DOTS

"Thanks to Michael Moore, the dots have been expertly connected and put on display for all to see. The Bin Ladens and the Bushes are in business together. End of discussion. No longer will I be called a conspiracy nut when I tell my husband that the Bin Laden’s were flown out of the country while people were waiting for life saving organ transplants. The truth is out. They were airlifted…no questions asked. Halliburton is ripping off US taxpayers and the Iraqis. James Baker's law firm represented the Saudi's when they were sued by the 9/11 family members. And I don’t know about you but the close-up footage of Bush's face in the classroom on the morning of 9/11 during the 8 minutes that he knew the country was under attack but just sat there, is going to stick with me for a long time.

The magnitude of the tragedy that our leaders have perpetrated upon our own troops and the people of Iraq is incalculable. It is something that these victims will never ever forget and neither should we. I only hope that someday the men, who have lined their pockets with the booty that prompted them to do this unspeakable thing, will feel the shame and receive the punishment that is their due."

13. I think a connecting the dots themed ad
would do very well in boosting Kerry-Edwards chances. The visual would show page(s) from one of those children's activity books and a hand holding a pencil connecting the dots, with voice over(s) explaining *co lies. As the voice over ends the dot picture is complete. A clever person might be able to come up with a whole series of dot-pictures portraying *'s ties to corporate money, the war, decaying infrastructure, deforestation, etc.

17. He told Russert flat out, "I'm not going to lose"
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4179618/

<snip>
Russert: You were both in Skull and Bones, the secret society.

President Bush: It's so secret we can't talk about it.

Russert: What does that mean for America? The conspiracy theorists are going to go wild.

President Bush: I'm sure they are. I don’t know. I haven't seen Web pages yet. (Laughs)

Russert: Number 322.

President Bush: First of all, he's not the nominee, and — but look, I look forward —

Russert: Are you prepared to lose?

President Bush: No, I'm not going to lose.

Russert: If you did, what would you do?

President Bush: Well, I don't plan on losing.

I saw it myself; it was creepy. :scared:

18. catzies...that interview was from feb 13.04
Edited on Thu Jul-08-04 01:11 AM by Tellurian
I don't blame you for being creeped out. I felt the same way watching that interview. It was quite depressing to me..

There has been alot of water under the bridge since then.

I'm beginning to believe we have reached another critical mass plateau...thanks to the unexpected success and acceptance of Michael Moore's movie Fahrenheit 911. (I hope Kerry gives him the Medal of Honor after the election, if we have one)

The old saying a picture is worth a thousand words has blown Bush's image to smithereens. The damage to his and all the usual suspects credibility is irreparable. I think we may see where the Bush camp won't even be able to pay people to listen to his tripe on the campaign trail..he has become too much of a huge embarrassment to the entire nation..Theres isn't anywhere left for (any of) them to hide anymore..

The usual Republican Denial has been broken through with facts and video to back up those facts..

Moore has theoretically vaporized the GOP...they have become was(ed)!

19. "Bush's Credibility Crisis"
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/06/28/bush/

Bush's Credibility Crisis
by Mark Shields

"Democrat James Carville says that the U.S. war in Iraq is "not a disaster. My (now closed) Washington restaurant was a disaster. Iraq is a catastrophe." For George W. Bush, a self-described "war president," Iraq and his shrinking credibility could well become a political disaster."

22. I liked this quote from your link:
"The retired voters in York confirmed the remarkable results of this week's Washington Post-ABC News poll question, which asked: "Please tell me whether the following statement applies more to George W. Bush or John Kerry: He is honest and trustworthy."

Bear in mind that supporters and admirers of the president almost always cite Bush's direct, unfancy, plain-spoken truth-telling as one of his most appealing qualities. But just a little over four months before Election Day, a 52 percent majority of voters believe that "honest and trustworthy" applies more to Kerry, and just 39 percent think those positive attributes apply more to Bush."

There is a simple litmus test for who is more Truthful.Bush or Kerry.

Bush has never told the Truth since the 00' campaign and I think I coulds successfully demonstrate, never in his life. But I'd be retelling things you already know..

And if Kerry ever Lied (and I don't mean refining strategys or changing direction on an issue when you find a better way)...I mean, something like..We must go to War with Iraq! We are in immanent danger!

Republicans would never let him hear the end off it..and of course Hastert and Hyde would already be building the scaffolding for the happening..and calling for their makeup people for the televised hanging.

20. I see Bush* going the way of Poppy: Losing interest
Bush* did not choose to run for Pres. He was approached by the RNC and pushed. He did not select his VP. His VP selected himself. Bush* has always been guided and lead in his carreer. Once the going gets tough he will lose interest. And like father the repubs will see it and lose hope.

21. They've already SPENT the money
in the Treasury, Raped the Environment, Outsourced our middle-class jobs, Robbed the Social Security fund, tried their twisted PNAC experiment, tested all of their new bombs, Made out like a bandit with their War Profiteering, and signed the Executive Orders that will keep these crimes from ever being fully exposed.

WHY WOULD B*sh & Co. want the Presidency? What's in it for them?
