I know the custom is to hand the spotlight to an up-n-comer, but c'mon - Dr. Dean singlehandedly woke up the Party and performed a badly needed spine implant. He deserves nothing less than the keynote address.
YEEEEARGH!

He did it in Chicago 96 and I swaer i was looking at Quayle's twin. Fuckin' zero city!
My guess: it will be Gephardt. No, I don't want it to be, but it will be a fop for his decades of service...his swan song.

Dean's campeign set the tone for this election and gave the party a kick in the ass that it so badly needed. He's no newcomer, of course, but on the other hand who the hell outside of Vermont had ever heard of this guy before he ran for President.
If, though, the feeling is that Dean's red meat, rouse the troops style could be better used elsewhere, I could be very enthusiastic about Barak Obama, I mean what's not to like about a good looking, articulate African-American who everyone says is a great speaker.
